    Pos Laju tracking number format

Pos Malaysia uses the Universal Postal Union's S10 standard, the same format postal services use worldwide:

    • 2 letters for the service, then 8 digits for the item, then 1 check digit, then the country code MY.
    • Because the last digit is a check digit, one mistyped digit usually returns "no result" instead of someone else's parcel. Copy and paste the number rather than typing it.
    • Some Pos Laju labels use three letters at the start, such as EHE108177925MY; they track the same way.
What the first letter usually means
    Starts withService
EExpress mail and courier (Pos Laju, EMS)
    RRegistered mail
    CParcel post
LTracked small packets, often from overseas sellers (for example LP…CN)

A number ending in another country code, such as CN or SG, was posted abroad. Pos Malaysia delivers it once it reaches Malaysia, so its Malaysian leg shows on Pos Malaysia's tracking page too.

Collecting a Pos Laju parcel from the post office

    1. Check the tracking page for the post office holding your parcel.
    2. Bring the tracking number, any collection notice left at your door and your MyKad or passport.
    3. If someone collects for you, ask the outlet what it needs; usually an authorisation letter and copies of both identity cards.
    4. Collect before the date on the notice. Uncollected parcels are returned to the sender.

    Frequently asked questions

How do I track my Pos Laju parcel?

Paste the 13-character tracking number into the box above and press Track parcel. The tool checks the format and opens Pos Malaysia's official tracking page with the number copied, so you can paste it if the page asks.

What does Item dispatched out mean on Pos Laju?

It means the parcel left a Pos Malaysia processing centre for the next stop on its route. It is a transfer update, not a delivery update, and it can appear several times on one journey.

Why does my Pos Laju tracking number show no result?

A new label can show nothing until the parcel is first scanned, often up to 24 hours. Also check every character: Pos Laju numbers end in a check digit and MY, so one wrong digit returns no result.

What do I need to collect a Pos Laju parcel at the post office?

Bring the tracking number, the collection notice if one was left, and your MyKad or passport. Someone collecting for you usually needs an authorisation letter and copies of both identity cards; check with the outlet first.

How long does Pos Laju delivery take?

Most Pos Laju parcels within Peninsular Malaysia arrive in 1 to 3 working days. Parcels to or from Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan, rural areas and peak sale periods take longer. The tracking page shows the latest progress.
