How to track a parcel in Malaysia
- Find the tracking number. It is on your order page (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop), in the seller's message or SMS, or printed above the barcode on the consignment note.
- Paste it above and press Track. Spaces and dashes are removed automatically.
- Open the courier's page. The number is copied when you tap the link, so you can paste it if the page opens empty.
- Not recognised? Pick the courier from the list, or use 17TRACK, which checks over a thousand couriers at once.

Tracking number formats by courier
Most couriers use a recognisable pattern. The first letters are the strongest clue; plain digit numbers can belong to more than one courier, so the tool lists every possible match.
| Courier | Typical format | Example | How sure the match is |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pos Laju (Pos Malaysia) | 2–3 letters, 9 digits, ending in MY | ER123456789MY | Set by the prefix |
| J&T Express | 12 digits | 630012345678 | Usual format |
| SPX Express (Shopee Xpress) | SPXMY + digits, or MY + 12–13 digits + a letter | SPXMY012345678901 | Set by the prefix |
| Ninja Van | Starts with NV, NVMY or MYNJV | NVMY23007000005122 | Set by the prefix |
| DHL eCommerce & DHL Express | MY + 3-letter hub code (eCommerce), or 10 digits (Express) | MYCGU1234567890 | Usual format |
| GDEX | Often MY + 11 digits | MY12345678901 | Shared with other couriers |
| City-Link Express | Often 15 letters and digits | – | Choose the courier manually |
| Flash Express | Letters and digits on the airway bill | – | Choose the courier manually |
| Lazada Logistics (LEX) | Often starts with MYMP | MYMPA012345678 | Usual format |
| Skynet Express | Digits printed on the airway bill | – | Choose the courier manually |
| Line Clear Express | Letters and digits on the consignment note | – | Choose the courier manually |
| Aramex | 10–12 digits | – | Shared with other couriers |
| FedEx | 12 or 15 digits | 771234567890 | Usual format |
| UPS | 1Z + 16 letters and digits | 1Z999AA10123456784 | Set by the prefix |
Examples show the shape of a number only; they are not real parcels. International postal items use the Universal Postal Union's S10 format, two letters, nine digits and a country code such as LP123456789CN, and are delivered in Malaysia by Pos Malaysia.

What tracking statuses mean
| Status | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Shipment information received | The seller created a label; the courier does not have the parcel yet. | Wait up to 24 hours for the first scan. |
| Picked up / Dropped off | The courier has the parcel. | Nothing; it is on its way. |
| In transit / Arrived at hub | The parcel is moving between sorting centres. | Expect a day or more between scans on long routes. |
| Out for delivery | A rider has the parcel for delivery today. | Keep your phone on; the rider may call. |
| Delivery attempt failed | Nobody received it, or the address could not be found. | Contact the courier to rearrange delivery or collect it. |
| Held at branch / Ready for collection | The parcel is waiting at a branch or pick-up point. | Collect it with the tracking number and your IC before the holding period ends. |
| Delivered | The courier recorded a delivery. | If you did not receive it, check with neighbours or guards, then report it to the seller the same day. |
| Return to sender | The parcel is going back to the seller. | Contact the seller quickly to arrange a resend. |
Parcel not moving? What to do
- No update for 24 hours after the label was made: normal; the first scan happens at pick-up.
- Stuck at one hub for 3 or more working days: contact the courier through its official website or app with the tracking number.
- Marketplace orders: raise it in the Shopee, Lazada or TikTok Shop order page before the order's protection period ends; the platform can chase the courier for you.
- Marked delivered but not received: report it to the seller and courier the same day; many couriers keep a delivery photo or signature.

Frequently asked questions
How do I track my parcel in Malaysia?
Paste the tracking number into the box above and press Track. The tool reads the number's format, shows the matching courier and opens that courier's official tracking page with the number already copied, so you can paste it if the page asks. If you already know the courier, pick it from the courier list instead.
Which courier is my tracking number from?
Look at the start of the number. Two or three letters, 9 digits and MY at the end (such as ER123456789MY) is Pos Laju. SPXMY, or MY followed by 12 or 13 digits and a letter, is SPX Express (Shopee). NV, NVMY or MYNJV is Ninja Van. 1Z is UPS. A plain 12-digit number is usually J&T Express. The courier name is also printed on the consignment note and shown on your order page.
How do I track a Shopee, Lazada or TikTok Shop parcel?
Open the order in the app and note the courier and tracking number under shipping information. Shopee mostly ships with SPX Express, Lazada with Lazada Logistics (LEX), and TikTok Shop with partners such as J&T Express and Ninja Van. Paste the number here to open that courier's own tracking page.
Why does my tracking number show no result?
A new label often shows nothing for up to 24 hours, until the courier scans the parcel at pick-up or drop-off. Check that you used the right courier and copied the number exactly, without spaces. If nothing appears after 2 working days, ask the seller to confirm the number and courier.
How long does delivery take in Malaysia?
Within Peninsular Malaysia most standard parcels arrive in 1 to 3 working days. Between Peninsular and Sabah, Sarawak or Labuan allow 3 to 7 working days. Rural areas, public holidays, sale seasons and bad weather add delays; the courier's tracking page gives the current estimate.
What does Return to sender mean?
The courier is sending the parcel back to the seller, usually after failed delivery attempts, a wrong or incomplete address, or a refused parcel. Contact the seller quickly; some couriers can redeliver if you call before the return is processed.
Is this parcel tracker free and private?
Yes. It is free with no signup. Detection runs in your browser, the number is never sent to this site, and recent numbers are stored only on your device. Delivery status comes from the courier's own website, or from 17TRACK only if you choose Show status on this page.
